Adam Holmes, a Senior Prototyping Student Associate at Protostudios, excelled during his summer internship at Shive-Hattery by applying his Protostudios-honed skills to challenging projects like steam line analysis and site documentation.

Protostudios hosted a 3D Printing Workshop where first-year engineering students designed puzzles using CAD software, gaining hands-on experience with prototyping technology under the guidance of the Protostudios team.

The University of Iowa has received a $6 million NSF grant for a four-year study deploying 500 I-canopy soil weather sensors. Protostudios is the design and prototyping partner for the project.

On July 18th, the Protostudios team, along with Jerry Wang, a graduate student working on Dr. Jun Wang's USDA Soil Sensor project, visited Hawkeye Molding Company, Inc. in Roland, Iowa. Keith Miller, their Operations Manager, gave us a tour of their injection molding operation.
