Max Swartz is a Senior Prototyping Associate at Protostudios where he is the primary operator of the CNC mill and CNC lathe. He also does reverse engineering of prototypes, 3D modeling, micro-arc welding, and assists other students in operating the laser cutter and waterjet. He also operates the injection molding machine. 

Max graduated in Fall of 2021 with a degree in Industrial Engineering, minoring in Art. His interests are in product development and manufacturing systems. Prior to and outside of Protostudios, Max has experience with MIG welding, blow molding, and general manufacturing processes.

Max moved on to work as a Prototyping Engineer at Iowa Rotocast Plastics Inc.
