Ron Troester is the 3D Print and Equipment Support Technician at the Protostudios where he works with the Design and Student teams on Printing Projects and maintenance of the 3D printers.

Ron has an associate degree in mechanical engineering plus a BBA in Operations Management and Marketing from the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business. Ron has worked in Product Design and Project Management for over 15 years. Ron was Project Engineer on a 5-year project with John Deere’s Harvester Works corn head redesign project, a project that received numerous patents for design and revolutionary manufacturing fixturing. It also required building a new state of the art manufacturing facility. He also worked in Systems Administration and Analysis for a government contract for 16 years. Ron also wrote SOPs and Process Manuals for numerous companies and brings all his skillsets to the Protostudios to help serve our clients.
